Beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath home located in a quiet neighborhood within 4-5 blocks of 2 beaches! Carmel River State Beach and Carmel City Beach.
The kitchen, living room and dining area are spacious and comfortable for small gatherings of family or friends.
Your home away from home, enjoy the outdoor patio, cook up dinner in the kitchen or on the BBQ, and dine outside by the gas heater. And as the evening cools, snuggle up with your favorite novel as you light up the gas fire pit, or enjoy one of your favorite movies on the flat screen HD TV from our movie collection, or play one of your own on our Blueray DVD player. Comcast adds 140 channels and wifi is also provided.
If you want to get out ... dine at the famous former mayor's 'Mission Ranch' just 3 blocks away. Visit the galleries, shops and restaurants in 'Carmel By The Sea' - just under a mile and easily walkable through the beautiful unique Carmel neighborhoods. Visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium or golf at one of the 18 courses on the Monterey Peninsula.
If you'd rather enjoy nature ... drive through the Del Monte Forest or head south to Point Lobos State Park and Big Sur. So many places to hike and beaches to explore! Rent bikes (or e-bikes!) and cycle along the coast from Monterey, past Lover's Point, to Pebble Beach. Avid cyclers can also cycle north past numerous sand dunes on a coastal bike path. Paddle kayaks on the Monterey Bay, at Lover's Point, or up the coast at Moss Landing.
And at the end of the day, enjoy an outdoor happy hour at Folklore Winery up Carmel Valley Rd, enjoy 3-5:00 PM 'Grazings' at Mission Ranch, or take happy hour to the beach ... with chairs, your beverage of choice, and snacks to watch the sun set over the water.
Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, you will have complete quiet and privacy. (There is a guest unit behind the main house that we use. The units are completely separate and private.)

Summary: The house was located in a cute neighborhood close to beaches and easy to walk to nice restaurants. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed in the house. The patio had beautiful gardens and lots of birds. Would love to stay again!

Summary: The cottage was cozy in the cold weather. It has a well appointed kitchen for a chef or one can enjoy great restaurant choices close by. We loved sitting out front in the afternoon by a glass filled fire pit watching the local birds forage and cavort. This cottage is one of a kind.

Summary: Coffee in the chill of morning, on the patio, to a chorus of local avifauna. Strolling the neighborhood, chatting with the neighbors even though you're not. To the beaches, the breeze,the sands. Unhurried steps from shop to shop, for that one memory. An evening on the deck at Mission Ranch to an hilarious cacophony of crows. This and more is what our hosts shared, a respit worth returning to.

Summary: Loved our stay at this sweet home. The owners were close by in case we needed any assistance,they were welcoming and gracious. The home was well stocked with kitchen appliances and utensils which make home cooking so easy. The front courtyard area in the mornings was a favorite Listening to the songbirds❤️❤️

Summary: We just spent over a week at this wonderful property and absolutely loved it. It was a great location, and nice house with all the amenities. Very clean and did not reek of plug in air fresheners. The owners thought of everything-games,puzzles,books, beach towels/chairs,etc. we will definitely be back soon!

Summary: Loved our stay in Carmel. This property had everything we needed. Very comfortable and we even had a couple of warm days with sunshine so enjoyed a BBQ and dinner on the patio one night. Easy walk to the beach. Close to everything. Would stay here again it we are ever back in Carmel.
